Testing & Treatment

As part of our ongoing research, we offer educational and psychological testing for ADHD, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia), oral language problems, and similar conditions. We specialize in disability evaluations for high school students, college students, and other adults who need accommodations at school, at work, or on standardized tests like the ACT, SAT, and MCAT.

We are also beginning a project investigating the effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for college students with ADHD or other problems with executive functioning. This brief treatment is designed to help students manage their time, reduce procrastination, and improve their emotional wellbeing.

We conduct evaluations for ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, and related conditions. We specialize in assessing adolescents and adults who need more support at school or work and want to find ways to accommodate and overcome their limitations.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ADHD & Related Problems

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is the only evidence based non-medicinal treatment for adults with ADHD. It is a brief intervention that can increase organization, reduce procrastination, and improve social-emotional functioning.
